Our Story
Charles and Richard first met in the late 1990s while working at Vignette, a pioneering software company that experienced one of the most historic IPOs of the dot-com era. Both were part of an emerging product group responsible for developing the first version of what would become the company’s flagship platform. That formative experience—not only building cutting-edge technology but doing so in a hyper-growth environment—laid the foundation for a lasting professional partnership.
After the dot-com bust of the early 2000s, the two made a promise to one day start a company together. Over the next several years, they each held key strategic and technical leadership roles across the industry, continuing to sharpen their expertise in Professional Services and enterprise software.
In 2008, that vision became a reality with the founding of Source 360 Group, Inc.—the forerunner to today’s FactorPSA and the technology behind CapitalPSA. With nearly two decades as executives in Professional Services, Charles and Richard have developed a world-class Professional Services Automation platform and paired it with a shared passion for financial innovation. Today, they provide both the software and the capital needed to help growing Professional Services companies scale smarter.

Charles Rich
Co-Founder & CEO
Starting his career as a consultant for top software vendors, he quickly developed a reputation for solving complex challenges and delivering real value to clients. Over the years, he moved into leadership roles, managing teams and driving large-scale implementations across industries. In 2008, he founded Source 360 Group, turning a passion for service delivery into a thriving business.
As the business evolved, so did his focus — navigating the financial side of professional services sparked a deep interest in funding and growth strategies. Today, he’s channeling decades of experience into building financial solutions tailored for service-based companies. What began as a career in consulting has grown into a mission to empower firms with both the systems and the capital they need to scale.
Richard Davis
Co-Founder and CTO
Richard brings a rare blend of deep technical expertise and financial insight to our team. As CTO, he leads the development of our platform with the precision of a seasoned engineer and the vision of a strategic partner. With a background that includes principal engineer roles at leading technology firms, he’s been a driving force behind many of our clients’ most complex and mission-critical solutions.
Though best known for his engineering acumen, Richard also holds a Master’s degree in Finance from LSU—a reflection of his long-standing interest in financial systems and strategy. His passion for innovation in the financial services space matches that of our founder, making him an integral part of our mission to modernize funding solutions for professional services firms.
